Local Roads Program - Asphalt Rejuvenator Treatment

    Asphalt Rejuvenator Treatment


The 2025 Local Roads Program includes construction on approximately 27.3 miles of local roadways in Meridian Township. This work is funded by the Local Roads Millage, which Meridian Township voters passed in August of 2019.

In 2025, 14.59 miles of local roads will receive asphalt rejuvenator spray treatment to extend the life of roads that have already been paved as part of this program.

Construction Updates
UPDATE 6/27/25

All of the roads scheduled for asphalt rejuvenator treatments on June 24 were completed on schedule with the exception of River Terrace Drive and Huron Hill Drive.

River Terrace Drive and Huron Hill Drive were treated on Friday, June 27.

Overglen Court was also treated on Friday, June 27.

Due to the rain events from June 25-27, the schedule for all remaining treatment dates was moved back 2-3 days.

UPDATE 6/26/25

All of the roads scheduled for asphalt rejuvenator treatments on June 24 were completed on schedule with the exception of River Terrace Dr and Huron Hill Dr. Weather permitting, River Terrace Dr and Huron Hill Dr will be treated on Friday, June 26.

Due to the rain events on June 25 and 26, the schedule for all remaining treatment dates was moved back two days.

UPDATE 6/25/25

The roads scheduled for asphalt rejuvenator treatments on June 24 were completed on schedule. The contractor will return in on June 26 or 27 to sweep these streets clean.

Due to the rain events on June 25, the schedule for all remaining treatment dates was moved back one day.

Meridian Township Asphalt Rejuvenator Schedule


UPDATE 6/10/25

Beginning Tuesday, June 24, an asphalt rejuvenator treatment will start being applied to the roads listed in the Asphalt Rejuvenator Resident Notice.

The purpose of an asphalt rejuvenator is to reverse the effects of deterioration caused by sunlight and water on the pavement, thereby delaying future decline.

A tentative schedule of the treatment can be found below:
