The 2025 Local Roads Program includes construction on approximately 27.3 miles of local roadways in Meridian Township. This work is funded by the Local Roads Millage, which was passed by Meridian Township voters in August of 2019. The work ranges from preventative maintenance (to preserve pavement that is still in good condition) to full road reconstruction:

  • Asphalt Rejuvenator Spray Treatment – 14.59 miles
  • Crack Fill – 6.69 miles
  • Reconstruction of Roads without Curb and Gutter – 2.68 miles
  • Reconstruction of Roads with Curb and Gutter – 3.02 miles

Construction Updates
UPDATE (2/13/25)

The Township's engineering firm for this project, Spalding DeDecker, will be handing updates for the duration of this work.

Spalding DeDecker will publish the initial construction schedule in March or April once it is known. The project is currently out to bid. Once we have the construction contract in place, we will develop the schedule with the contractor.

The construction schedule will change each day we experience a rain event. All 2025 road construction will occur from late March to November 15.

Their updates will be posted on the webpage below:
