Township Board
The Township Board is elected by Meridian Township residents every four years and is comprised of seven members (Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer, and four Trustees). The Supervisor chairs the Township Board meetings, and the Board appoints a Township Manager to oversee Township operations.
The Board is responsible for enacting ordinances, allocation and approval of budget, levying millage and other items authorized by State Statute. Board candidates have experience in community development, legislation & policy, finance, elections, and planning.
