Portable Outdoor Service Centers Closing for Season
Closure Begins Wednesday, November 4th
Post Date:10/27/2020 3:30 PM
Due to the colder weather and decreased traffic, Meridian Township officials are announcing that the two temporary Portable Outdoor Service Centers will no longer be in use beginning Wednesday, November 4th. Although the units will remain onsite in front of the Municipal Building, they will be closed for the season. The Election Center located in the Town Hall Room will be transformed into the Utility Billing and Tax Collection Center beginning in December.
To help reduce the spread of COVID-19, residents are encouraged to continue utilizing the Township's website, email, paper correspondence and phone assistance to meet their service needs. Residents who need help setting up their online utility or tax payments can call the Treasurer's Office at 517.853.4140.
Members of the public who need to be assisted in person must wear a mask to enter any Township building, adhere to social distancing requirements and stop at the security/information desk upon entering. Visitors to Township buildings are strongly encouraged to stay home if they are sick.
