Join Capital Area District Libraries (CADL) for their Community Spotlight event on Wednesday, September 24 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Haslett branch (1590 Franklin Street, Haslett).

This spotlight will focus on Sleep In Heavenly Peace (SHP), a nationwide volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to building and delivering hand-made, fully furnished beds to children in need. SHP’s mission is to tackle childhood bedlessness, which is estimated to affect nearly 3% of the population. This event is co-sponsored by the Capital Area District Libraries and Meridian Cares.
