The Friends of Historic Meridian will host a speaker series at the Village Chapel (5151 Marsh Road, Okemos) on Wednesday September 24, at 7:00 pm.

An Early Education of Women at MAC history lecture will be hosted by Sally Gray, a former MSU professor in the Department of Human Environment and Design and the Department of Art, Art History, and Design. The lecture will provide insight into the experience of sampler making in the early days of the Women's Program at MSU through an examination of students' samplers, sewing books, and reminiscences from the time.
