In preparation for the fall season, we are offering a free educational program all about woody invasive plant species! Maybe you need a little brush up on your ID skills or would like more information on how to manage these pesky plants in your own yard. We’ve got you covered! We will meet at the Township Service Center for a brief presentation before heading into the field to put our management and identification methods into practice. If you potentially have invasive woody plants in your backyard, please bring pictures to the event and we will try to identify them from the pictures. Please wear close-toed shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. RSVPs are required for this event. Please email or text a note of your attendance to Emma at ecampbell@meridian.mi.us, or 517.897.3610.
All workdays are outdoors and may be canceled due to inclement weather. If you would like to join the Meridian Conservation Corps to receive email updates on future stewardship events and get MCC swag, visit the Meridian Conservation Corps webpage to sign up.
