On Friday, August 15 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, we will be hosting an open house and meet-and-greet for students interested in joining the Meridian Township Youth Commission! The open house will take place in the Town Hall Room of the Meridian Township Municipal Building (5151 Marsh Road, Okemos).

The Youth Commission is a newly formed group with the purpose of engaging the youth of Meridian Township by actively involving them in the functions of municipal governance. Members of the Youth Commission will work with the Township Board to promote environmental stewardship, mental health awareness, community events, cultural appreciation, diversity, and adaptability in government through the perspectives of younger individuals.
