An Energy Fair will be held at the Meridian Township Farmers’ Market on Saturday, June 21, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Energy Fair will include exhibitors, demonstrations, and opportunities to ask questions about energy use both at home and in the community.
The Meridian Energy Team will have a booth to meet with residents, discuss green energy, and provide handouts on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and electrification.
Absolute Solar will be present with solar kits for kids and to answer questions about solar equipment and the Solarize group-buy program. Anyone considering installing solar panels will have a great opportunity to learn about that process. (A Solarize meeting is being held in July for any who are interested in attending.)
Consumers Energy is bringing their electric vehicle (EV) specialists and a Ford F150 Lightning to display. Drivers of electric vehicles or those curious about making the switch are encouraged to come by and chat about some of the options. Consumers Energy can simplify the experience and offers ways to save money, such as a $620 cash back rebate* towards making overnight home charging easy and affordable.
This event is sponsored by the Meridian Energy Team.
