Visit the Meridian Conservation Corps and Green Meridian table at the Meridian Township Farmers' Market on May 17 for a variety of information and activities. This event will be from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Marketplace on the Green (1995 Central Park Drive, Okemos).

Staff and volunteers from Meridian Conservation Corps will be on hand to answer questions about "planting a native Meridian."

From 9:00 am to 11:00 am, international expert Dr. John Biernbaum will provide demonstrations of composting, a natural way to create a rich addition to your garden.

Volunteers from the Meridian Green Team will be on hand to share information on recycling, ecological landscaping, tips for green living, and sustainability.
