The Meridian Green Team, along with the Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association (GLREA) and Michigan Saves, will host a Solarize Meridian Township event on Wednesday, April 9, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Henry's Place (4926 Marsh Road, Okemos). 

Solarize Meridian Township is an educational program to help Meridian Township residents learn about solar electric systems. Participants can purchase solar panels as a group and earn a discounted rate. Absolute Solar and Michigan Saves will be on-site to discuss group-buy discounts and financing solutions.

The hosts will also provide a taco and salad bar for all who attend.
