Join us to remove litter and trash from the Marketplace on the Green and Central Park! We will park at the Marketplace and walk over to Central Park from there. No experience is necessary, and all tools, gloves, and sanitizing supplies are provided. Volunteers may have to walk over uneven terrain and possibly over downed logs. Expect to use trash pickers and trash bags. Join us in the park to connect, learn, and conserve!
Stewardship Saturdays occur every other Saturday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm at a different location. Help the Meridian Conservation Corps restore habitat across our parks and preserves through activities like invasive plant removal and sowing native seeds. Stewardship workdays are a great way to get outdoors and improve our community!
Participants are encouraged to pre-register but walk-ins are welcome. To register, or for more information, please contact Land Stewardship Coordinator Emma Campbell at ecampbell@meridian.mi.us or call at 517.853.4614. All workdays are outdoors and may be canceled due to inclement weather. If you would like to join the Meridian Conservation Corps to receive email updates on future stewardship events and get MCC swag, visit the Meridian Conservation Corps webpage to sign up.
