Due to muddy conditions on the trails, we are going to switch gears and pick up the winter accumulation of trash along Central Park Drive. Bring your work gloves, dress for the weather and meet us there at 1 pm to keep our community clean and sustainable!
Join us at Legg Park to scout and cut invasive shrubs around a productive wetland area, where wild iris grows. No experience is necessary, and all tools are provided. Expect to use hand saws, loppers, and pruners to cut shrubs and vines. Join us in the forest to connect, learn, and conserve!
Stewardship Saturdays occur every other Saturday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm at a different location. Help the Meridian Conservation Corps restore habitat across our parks and preserves through activities like invasive plant removal and sowing native seeds. Stewardship workdays are a great way to get outdoors and improve our community!
Participants are encouraged to pre-register but walk-ins are welcome. All workdays are outdoors and may be canceled due to inclement weather.
