EVENT CANCELATION
Due to icy trail conditions, the Stewardship Saturday scheduled for tomorrow, February 8th at Eastgate Park will be canceled. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Join us at Eastgate Park to scout and cut invasive bittersweet vines. We will also work to remove autumn olive shrubs near the bike pump track. No experience is necessary, and all tools are provided. Expect to use hand saws, loppers, and pruners to cut shrubs and vines. Join us in the forest to connect, learn, and conserve!
Stewardship Saturdays occur every other Saturday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm at a different location. Help the Meridian Conservation Corps restore habitat across our parks and preserves through activities like invasive plant removal and sowing native seeds. Stewardship workdays are a great way to get outdoors and improve our community!
Participants are encouraged to pre-register but walk-ins are welcome. All workdays are outdoors and may be canceled due to inclement weather.
