Join the Friends of Historic Meridian for their 'Turning Back the Pages' week-long summer camp, August 1 - 5 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm each day. Each day is themed 'A Day in the Life of...'
Tuesday, August 2 - A Day in the Life of a Log Cabin Pioneer
Campers will explore chores of log cabin living. Registration is limited to children entering 3rd - 6th grades in the fall of 2022. The cost is $25 per day or $125 for the whole week. You can register your child for as many mornings as you wish or register for the full week.
Other themed days are as follows:
- Monday, August 1 - A Day in the Life of a Wilderness Traveler - Campers will learn about traveling west to Michigan.
- Wednesday, August 3 - A Day in the Life of a Homesteader - Campers will find out about the farming activities of the times.
- Thursday, August 4 - A Day in the Life of an Apprentice - Campers will practice working in days gone by.
- Friday, August 5 - A Day in the Life of a Townsperson - Campers will examine the differences in town life of the past.
