“Buy local, grow local" by participating in the Harris Nature Center’s Native Plant Sale on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The annual Spring Native Plant Sale includes Michigan native sedges, grasses, wildflowers, ferns and complete garden kits. Proceeds benefit HNC. All plants are grown locally at Designs by Nature and Michigan Woodland Wildflowers and Ferns. Community members can order plants ahead of time or shop on the day of the sale. Pre-orders are due on Thursday, April 9 and will be available for pick up on the day of the sale. For those who do not pre-order, there will be additional plant varieties available to purchase on May 2.
